Cross your "T"s and Dot your "I"s

Hello Lovelies!! Yesterday I went to the Lucky FABB Conference in the fabulous NYC! I was so excited and nervous at the same time. There were so many talented and beautiful bloggers there. Not to mention guest celebrities and sponsoring brands. For my first blogger conference so I must admit it was it was an amazing great experience but a bit intimidating at first to talk with other bloggers who have been posting for much longer than I have. It was imperative that I crossed all my "t"s and dotted all my "i"s, much like this outfit.

Stripes are such a diverse pattern for anyone's closet. This striped H&M body-con dress is girlie and fun with pink and brown stripes but let's admit it, sometimes a girl doesn't want to just wear a pretty dress. Sometimes you need a change of scenery.

That's when this lovely skirt comes in. You may remember this polka dot beau from my last post. I LOVE this skirt for so many reasons. The obvious one being that it is polka dots. The other is that it's pleated and the sheer fabric over the lining makes it airy. Like a polka dot fairy :)

If there is one thing that I am learning as a fashion blogger is that accessories are king. I am a true believer that most of the time it is the accessories that can either make or break an outfit. When in doubt a statement necklace is all you need to take any simple outfit from bland to BAM!

Black suedette wedges are a great wardrobe staple. You can use these bad boys to dress up any outfit. Just throw on a pair of jeans, a white tee, some funky sunglass, a cute clutch, and these shoes and your outfit is complete.

And here is the finished product. Stripes and dots...

In this outfit, I could keep up with the other fashionistas. There is no grammatical error here. Nope, just good clean fashion...and lots of smiles. :)
